Story

Developers
by day.
Car people always.

QC Revworks is what happens when a software studio in Moline, Illinois keeps sneaking out to the garage. We ship production software for a living at QC Devworks. Revworks is where that same discipline gets pointed at the cars we actually drive.

It started with one frustration: a Dodge Neon, a blank spot on the dash, and a market full of gauges built for “any car,” which is to say no car in particular. So we decided to build the one we wanted. Then a few more things. Then a brand, so there was somewhere to put them.

What we believe

Three rules,
written in grease.

Rule 01

Fix it, don’t replace it.

The most sustainable car is the one already in your driveway. We build parts that keep old platforms on the road and make them better to live with.

Rule 02

Small batch, no excuses.

Fifty units done right beat five thousand done fine. Every run gets tested on real cars and inspected one at a time.

Rule 03

Say what’s true.

If fitment is unconfirmed, the page says so. If a product is a concept, the render is labelled. We would rather lose a sale than your trust.

Timeline

Short so far.
Getting longer.

  1. The day job.

A Moline software studio building fixed-scope custom software, automation and internal tools for Quad Cities businesses. Production, not prototypes.

    qcdevworks.com
  2. Revworks gets a name.

The garage projects get a brand, a website and a rule book. Project 001 is chosen: a gauge for the Neon.

  3. Doors open.

The Neon gauge waitlist goes live and Drop 01 merch lands. The build log starts moving.

Quad Cities

Built where the
Mississippi bends west.

Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, Bettendorf. Farm equipment, river barges and a lot of people who fix their own stuff. It is a good place to build things that are meant to last.
